Rhythm Challenges in Partner dancing
A big part of this class is to understand the rhythm, and for that your level of dance is not importante!
Start by understanding what are the differences, practice them solo or with a partner afterwards. This is tricky content to do consistently and with a partner, so don't give up and keep on practicing!
Some exercises to work on your Lindy Hop connection even without a partner
(If you don't have a lot of space to dance you can also just check the ideas and think about them, it's already a good mental workout).
Geeky Session: Active v.s. Passive muscle behaviour, Tone, Tone Simulation, Signal to Noise ratio
This is not your usual class. We recommend a lot of brain energy and time to digest some of these principles, and a lot of self-awareness to be able to bring the potentially huge benefits.
Soft Tap: Backward Flaps
Exploring some Tap fundamentals to incorporate in our Lindy Hop partnered dancing.
Acture (Posture in motion) - some ideas inside of partner dancing context
This was our first attempt at filming something decent. We are sorry for failing at it. But failure makes us learn. These ideas might be really useful for a lot of dancers out there. Please take your time to develop body awareness around these.
